Christoph Ruckhäberle
Biography
Christoph Ruckhäberle (1972) lives and works in Leipzig. He recently had a solo exhibition at Museum of Fine Arts Leipzig (2019). He completed two site commissions, for the Galerie Für Zeitgenössische Kunst, Leipzig and for a new university building in Leipzig.
Past exhibitions include McNay Art Museum, San Antonio, Texas (2016); Goethe Institut, Hong Kong (2015); Wels Stadtgalerie, Austria (2014), Kulturhalle Pfaffenhofen (2015); Migros Museum, Zurich (2009); Manifesta 7 (2008); Frye Art Museum, Seattle (2007); Saatchi Gallery, London (2006) and Cleveland Museum of Art (2005).
His work is in the permanent collections of the MoMA, New York; Migros Museum, Zurich; Essl Museum – Contemporary Art, Vienna; Rubell Family Collection – Contemporary Arts Foundation, Miami; Saatchi Collection, London; The Olbricht Collection, Bremen and Weserburg Museum für moderne Kunst, Bremen.
